U.S. black metal band Namtaru starts off this split with a short intro then dives into a relentless black metal attack.Namtar is the sole member of this band and on this recording plays old school black metal with some death metal influence entertwined into the music.The guitars are done with a mix of extremly fast guitar patterns that are played with skill and experience.The guitars do slow to a more controlled mid paced range even playing some solo's in a few of the songs.The vocals are a mix of demonic death metal growls and harsh gruff screams.Legio Infer is the second band coming out of Colombia South America's black metal scene.This is my first time hearing Legio Infer who play aggressive and fast paced old school black metal style.The musicians know how to play their individual instruments to create a raw,fast paced black metal style that is performed with skill and ability.On this split both bands create and deliever quality musicanship that should please fans of black metal.
