Coming out of California's black metal scene is Sicarius with their second full-length release.God Of Dead Roots contains ten tracks of traditional,intense black metal similar to the mid 90's.The guitars are played with extremely fast guitar patterns but the guitarist plays with a lot of skill and experience.As mentioned the guitarist plays at a fast pace but does slow to a more mid paced range in some of the songs even adding some well played solo's.The vocals are done with grim black metal screams and screeches.
If you are a fan of early Gorgoroth,Marduk and the like then be sure to pick up a copy of God Of Dead Roots when it is released you will not be disappointed.

Ruin Lust are a brutal and barbaric blackend death metal band coming out of the New York scene.Choir Of Babel is the bands newest full length featuring five songs chaotic and heavy blackend death metal.The vocals are done with deep death metal growls and some raspy black metal screams are used in a few of the songs.The guitars are done with extremely fast and ferocious guitar chords and patterns.The drums are played with heavy mid paced drums but their are also some violent blast beats that really fit the bands musicial style.
Ruin Lust play a very vicous and barbaric blackend death metal style with some war metal elements entertwined within the music if this sounds like a band you would enjoy be sure to pick up a copy of Choir Of Babel when it is released.

Originally released in 2002 Moribund Records will be re-releasing the classic second release in March 2020.Black Sun Shall Rise contains eight original songs and a cover of Sodom's Blasphemer the band plays a very destructive,satanic form of black metal.The guitars are played with a mix of extremely fast guitar patterns and some slower more controlled mid paced guitars.The guitarist even adds some well written and performed guitar passages and also adds some well performed solo's in a few of the tracks.The vocals are grim black metal screeches and screams that fit the bands musicial style perfectly.

Coming out of Belgium's blackend thrash metal scene is Slaughter Messiah with their debut full length Cursed To The Pyre.The debut release contains eight tracks of primitive blackend thrash metal similar to the early 80's scene with the bands own writing ability.The guitars are played with extremely fast and aggressive patterns that fit Slaughter Messiah's style perfectly.The guitarist does slow to a more controlled mid paced range in a few tracks even adding some well played guitar solo's.The drumming are done with a lot of fast,blasting drum patterns and some heavier mid paced drum patterns.The vocals are raw thrash metal screams and some gruff screams are used in a few of the songs.
