1. Hails please introduce yourselves to the readers?
Hails maniacs!! first of all thank you for this good interview, it's an honor for us. i'am Necrosadistic founder Battlethrone band from Indonesian. we light the fire of desecration since 2019 !
2.When did you first discover black and death metal and who were the first bands you listened to?Who are some of the current bands that has caught your attention?
Probably about seven years or so before starting the band I started looking for and listening to black metal which is very heavy and chaotic and some of our members are also black metal veterans here !
3. Battle Throne was started in 2019 when did you and the other members first get the idea to start this band?What is the current line-up of the band?
Idea to start a band in 2018 but at that time I couldn't find a suitable member so I gave up my desire. It was only at the beginning of 2019 that I found the first BATTLETHRONE members but even then it only lasted half a year and then we immediately made a personnel reshuffle. The current line up guitar position is Thronehell, i'am on Vocals, lead guitar is Wincorpse. And in 2022 we invite Varmossath from 'Immortal Rites' in the position of Bass. And also our Drum position invites Jimm from 'Sereignos.
4. Who would you say are Battle Throne's biggest influences?For the readers who have not heard the band how would you best describe the bands musicial style?
The influence on our band is quite large, of course inspired by thrash metal and death metal music of the 90s and black metal which is very aggressive and chaotic. it would be too many to list them all but some of these bands were very strong in influencing us: Sepultura (old), Sarcofago,Blasphemy, Revenge, Impiety, Black Witchery. but we will create "infinite destruction" itself.
5. Hail Kommander is the debut EP. that was released through Born For Burning Prod. When did you and the band come in contact with this great label?
Initially E.p Hail Kommander was released by Malaysian label Obscuresound Rec in cassette tape. Before the cassette release reached its release date, I contacted label Born for Burning prods. Around mid-2021 about a CD release and they agreed. It's an honor for us.
6.Does the whole band take part in the writing process or does one member usually write the music?How long does it usually take to complete one song?
All basic musical arrangements by Thronehell (guitarist) and some of the personnel helped perfect it
7.Who usually handles writing the lyrics for the bands and what are some topics written about on the debut EP.?
I myself composed the lyrics concept and yesterday's E.p took the concept of the history of the past war in our country. And I have also prepared some lyrics about the phenomenon of blasphemy, chaos, desecration that is happening around us. And it's real!!! I also studied in various books to manifest the lyrics
8. Besides the debut Hail Kommander release does the band have any other releases or merchandise currently availible for the readers?If yes what is availible and where can the readers purchase it?
At the end of 2021 we split with the Ritual Ortodoks band ( Malang , Indonesian ) the band side project by Throne of Misanthropic Imperium. and there are still a few copies left on the THRONE MUSICKNESS label.At the end of 2021 we split with the ritual Ortdoks band{Malang Indonesia}the bands side project by throne of Misanthropic Imperium and their are still a few copies of left on the Throne Musicness label.Later also in the complilation blacksound no.4 which was released on cd by the label Edelweiss Rec.{Indonsienan label} And also from us there are some copies availible for the ep.Hail Kommander you can contact me.For merchandise t-shirt we don't have any plans yet.
9. Does Battle Throne have any interest in playing live or do you prefer working in the studio? Has the band had the chance to play live before the pandemic shut everything down?How did the shows go over?
Playing live is crazy for us. Because when that happens we can manifest all the crimes for real and besides that we can meet friends from various cities who previously only shared information through social media. but we still focus to our upcoming song material. so for the business of playing live it's number two for us.
10. Battle Throne comes out of Indonesia's blackend death metal scene what are your thought of Indonesia's metal scene over the years?
Underground scene in Indonesia is currently growing rapidly until now. There have been many bands that have emerged with unique and different concepts than usual and many labels from outside Indonesia are getting interested. only a few percent of human poser and some people trying to destroy the essence of black metal. they must be beheaded!!!
11. Who are your all-time favorite bands coming out of Indonesia and are their any new bands you could recomend to the readers?
In Indonesia, there are many black metal bands whose existence is very strong until now and also has good musicality . you can listen : Ritual Orchestra, Immortal Rites, Sereignos, Warkvlt, Diabolical, Rajam, Blastodest and many more.
12. What does Underground Metal mean to you?
MILITANT.DOMINATE.NO MERCY!!!!
13. Has the band started working on new music for the next Battle Throne release?Will it be a EP. or would you like to work on a debut full-length?
For now, we have just finished recording a new song that we will be releasing in the near future. Can be for split or demo. And there are still some song material that we are preparing for the upcoming album. You will witness the next annihilation ! !
