Goats Of Doom--Tie On Hanen Omilleen cd{Purity Through Fire}
Don't let the band name fool Goats Of Doom perform a mix of extreme fast black metal with some melodic musicial passages entertwined within the chaotic black metal.Tie On Hanen Omilleen is the bands fifth full length release featuring seven songs of both crazed fast black metal and some slower more melodic guitar structures.The guitars are played with whirlwind,fast guitar structures and patterns.The guitarist does slow to a more controlled pace with some extremely well performed and memorable passages.The vocals are grim black metal screams and screeches and some deeper growls are used in a few of the songs.Tie On Hanen Omilleen is my first time hearing this Finnish black metal band but if you are a fan of well played and performed black then do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of the new release when it is available.
