Svarttjern are long running black metal band coming out of the Norweigan black metal scene.Shame Is Just A Word is the bands fifth full length which will be released in mid January featuring eight tracks of extreme and aggressive black metal.For the most part the music is played with fast,chaotic musicial passages and arrangements.Svarttjern do slow to a more controlled mid paced range throughout the songs to show off the bands writing skills.The vocals are grim,raw black metal screams and some deeper,gruff screams are used in a few of the songs.Svarttjern has released a quality black metal release with both aggressive black metal parts and some slower more controlled passages for a great black metal release.
