The Canadian black metal solo project Primordial Serpent returns with the tenth full length release.Triumphant Son Of Darkness contains a very well written and performed intro that is well performed and composed.The new songs are a combination of extremly fast passages but the music does slow to a more mid pace range throughout a few songs to give each song it's own identy.The guitars are played with intensety and skillful writing.The drums are a mix of high energy fast drums and some slower more mid paced drum passages.The vocals are grim black metal screams and some gruff screams are used throughout a few tracks.Triumphant Son Of Darkness is a great release of traditional and well executed black metal that should be heard by all who are fans of this style.
